立場 Manifeste
關於 Présentation
Wen xue wu lun, 文學無論 in Chinese, is a small group of young readers, writers and creators who consider literature as frontiers. As "wen xue wu lun" indicates, we argue that there's no need to talk much about literary theories. With this observation, literature becomes a "zone" where subjects and objects of literature sphere could not only find their voices, but also find their way to "peace", that is to say, to achieve emancipation, though marginally, from the domination that literature and its device may impose on us.
We'd love to surname our group with the slogan-like manifesto "If too sad to write" from 2024, with an ambition to write, to create in connection with texts, and to interrogate praxis, power and legitimacy of writing. That's why we took the action of moving forward, from "don't talk too much about literary theories" to "If".
方法 Méthode
Though literature, its concept, its objects and its uses are in question, we refer to other forms and techniques of creation to speak for or against literature. Because of which, we see frontiers of literature half-open.
Please note that frontiers of literature must be understood in several ways.
- frontier between different cultural praxis of literature;
- frontier between language and nation;
- and frontier between text and image.
And note that in our work, intermediality is one of the most common tools.
